There is an amendment to the Constitution and over three million guns in this country that will need to be a part of any gun control laws. Attacking the NRA is nothing more than a divide and conquer technique, and should be treated as such. Remember that any law that is passed should not create more criminals from law abiding citizens. When you have written and passed enough laws that even the hardest headed can admit that you cannot legislate sanity, then, and apparently only then, can we begin rational conversations about the things we need to change about ourselves, to stop us from killing each other.
